The month started with a collaborative paper with Champ from Chiang Mai University. This was followed by the 2nd MSc student, Yee Shan successfully defended her viva on 6 July.
The next day, we have the first cycling group activity along the coastline.
Immediately after the week, I prepared to pitch in the final of TechPlanter by Leave a Nest. We were glad to be selected as 1 of the 9 finalists from >50 entries across the country. This was an eye-opening session despite we didn't secure any award! Glad to have Dr Muaz from CIC coming for the support and meeting Dr Leo, the winner in 2022.
The month was also packed with the FYP viva and farewell. The four girls - Sze Shyen, Jia Hui, Jia Yee, Ying Ying, were so amazing and pick up an entirely new project on machine learning.
July was ended with excellent news that Li Ching represented Malaysia to attend 50th CRS meeting in Las Vegas!
