We're glad that Li Ching has successfully defended her viva voce for PhD conversion. She has been working in the group for nearly 2 years starting as a research assistant before registering as a MSc student. With much effort, she finally have her work completed for the conversion viva. Despite the uncertain times during the lockdown period, she managed to accomplish her thesis within the time frame. The viva lasted nearly 2 hours and I was pleased that the viva went very well with an exciting outcome!
