Year 2020 has been a tough year for everyone and me is not excluded. Despite, it made me even tougher to brace the difficult time to set more challenges for myself! Out of 4 grant applications, 1 was rejected but 2 national grants were recently approved (while 1 is still pending)!
In early August, the joyful news from Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) grant knocked my door! This was a last-minute submission in a collaboration with a local medical company. The excitement continued 3 months after when the result for the typical national grant for fundamental research was finally announced! Joining with 211 colleagues, I'm among the lucky one this year to get the grant after 3 attempts for the past few years.
Well, I should say this year is lucky enough for me and can't thanks my partners and lab members who continuously support me from behind.
