On 15 Feb, we had our first skin group meeting in 2020 with lots of excitement. We have Shahad (co-student) presenting her work and a warm welcome for Hema joining us under my co-supervision for biomass analytical work. As lunar new year just passed, we were in time for a yee-shang tossing event together, wishing the best for us for health and wealth (the lab needs funding! :))
This was followed by a hiking at a hill nearby, Bukit Jambul in Penang. Supervisor is reponsible for the students' physical health development too! We went up using the shortest route and descending using another difficult route (under supervisor's order). Yet, they all managed to finish the hiking, both exciting & thrilling (getting dark)!
